Ingredients for DIY Gushers

Note: I also tried making them with gummy bears, but that did not go well as the mixture was way too sticky. The final texture was also not quite right. The gummy stars were the candies that I found that were most accurate.

What do I do if the DIY Gushers are sticking to the molds?

You can sift some corn starch on the inside of the mold before putting the melted gummy. The will make them pop right out of the mold when set.

Notes

Tips:
  1. Have fun with the flavors of gummies and liquid candy, making unique combinations.
  2. I also tried making them with gummy bears, but that did not go well as the mixture was way too sticky. The final texture was also not quite right. The gummy stars were the candies that I found to be the closest to the real thing.
