Not only that, but also it automatically selects the appropriate amount of pressure for each project, taking out the guesswork for users. And with its automatic lift feature, there’s no need to constantly monitor the time – the machine will automatically lift once the set time is up. These features make for a more convenient and efficient heat pressing experience.

Before jumping into my review, it’s helpful to understand the features that are unique to the HTVRONT heat press:

Preset Temperatures

The HTVRONT automatic heat press comes with four preset temperatures and timing settings, making it easy to get started on your projects right away. These presets cover the most common temperatures and timings used for vinyl and sublimation projects. Additionally, the machine allows you to save up to two custom settings, perfect for those who frequently work on specific types of projects. This feature adds a level of personalization and convenience to the machine.

Automatic Mode

One of the standout features of the HTVRONT automatic heat press is its automatic mode. This mode allows for effortless pressing of items – when automatic mod is on, simply slide in your item, and the machine will automatically start pressing once it’s fully inserted. And at the end of the set time, the machine will automatically lift, eliminating the need for constant monitoring.

In reality, it is only one less button you’re pressing, but why not make things more simple!

Auto-Lift Feature

The auto-lift feature of the HTVRONT automatic heat press adds to its convenience and ease of use. Once the set time is up, the machine will automatically lift, allowing for perfect pressing times. This not only saves time (as you don’t need to watch the clock), but also eliminates the risk of over-pressing or damaging your project. This feature is especially useful for those who frequently work on multiple projects at once (I know it’s not just me!).

No Lever Necessary

The HTVRONT automatic heat press boasts a unique feature – there’s no need for a lever to press items! Instead, simply push a button and let the machine do the work for you. This is huge for those of us who don’t like doing unnecessary mini workouts while crafting!

Automatically Adjusts Pressure

One of the most useful and time-saving features of the HTVRONT automatic heat press is its ability to automatically adjust pressure. This means that for each project, the machine will select and apply the appropriate amount of pressure without any guesswork from the user. This feature not only ensures consistent results but also saves time and effort compared to manually adjusting pressure for each project.

Slide Out Tray

The HTVRONT automatic heat press features a convenient slide out tray for placing your garment or project on. This makes it easy to position the item correctly and ensures even pressure throughout the pressing process.

My Review of the HTVRONT Heat Press

First Impressions

As soon as I received the HTVRONT automatic heat press, I was impressed by its sleek and modern design.

Then as I got it out of the box, the weight initially caught me off guard. It’s definitely heavier than I expected, but then again, all heat presses tend to be on the heavier side. However, what sets this one apart is its evenly distributed weight and easy-to-grip handles. This makes it much easier to lift and move around compared to other heat presses with a pull-down handle.

Review of Each Feature

I figured it might be easiest to review each feature one at a time in depth. This way you can jump to a specific feature that you’re curious about.

Adjusting the Temperature

At first, I had some trouble figuring out how to adjust the temperature on the HTVRONT automatic heat press. I was trying to use the preset temperatures and wasn’t able to manually set my own. It took me a few tries to realize that I needed to turn off the machine and then turn it back on in order to access the manual temperature settings.

Once I got the hang of it, adjusting the temperature became much easier. It may take a few minutes to get used to, but once you do, it’s smooth sailing from there.  Plus, having preset temperatures still makes for quicker and more efficient pressing times overall.  So don’t be discouraged if it takes a bit of trial and error – trust me, it’s worth it!  

Single Push Button

By far the best feature is the simple push-button operation. Pressing items has never been easier – no more worrying about tipping over a heavy press while pulling down on a lever. With just one push of a button, the machine automatically begins pressing, and at the end of the set time, it lifts up on its own.

Pressure

One small drawback of the HTVRONT automatic heat press is its pressure settings. While it automatically adjusts pressure for each project, I found that with sublimation projects, the pressure could be a bit stronger. Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy way to manually adjust the pressure on this machine. It would be helpful if there was an option for “extra pressure” specifically for sublimation projects.

"Automatic" Setting

One feature that may not be as useful as it initially seems is the “automatic” setting on the HTVRONT heat press. While this setting allows for automatic pressing once you slide in your item, it still requires you to push a button to select this option.

In my opinion, this doesn’t save much time compared to just pressing the button manually. However, it can still be convenient for those who prefer a hands-free option.  Overall, while it may not be a major value add, it’s still a nice feature to have.  A little convenience never hurts! 

Auto-Lift

One of my favorite aspects of the HTVRONT automatic heat press is that I don’t have to worry about timing my projects. The machine automatically lifts when the set time is up, ensuring that I don’t accidentally over or under-press my items. This not only saves me time and effort, but also guarantees consistent results every time.

It takes away the stress and guesswork of pressing and allows me to focus on other aspects of my projects.  Overall, it’s a game-changer for me when it comes to efficiency and convenience.  The less time I have to spend worrying about timing, the more time I can spend creating! 

Slide Out Tray

One feature of the HTVRONT heat press that I really appreciate is the slide-out tray. Not only does it provide added safety by preventing accidental burns, but it also makes it much easier to place and remove items compared to a swing-style heat press.

However, I did encounter some difficulty when trying to use the tray for sublimation projects. The base plate made it challenging to slide items over the tray, so I had to unhook the mat and place my shirt on top before reattaching the mat. While this workaround was doable, I would prefer if the tray slid out further to make it easier to maneuver items onto it.

Overall though, the convenience and safety of the slide-out tray outweigh this minor inconvenience.

Price

When considering purchasing the HTVRont automatic heat press, it’s important to keep in mind its price point. At around $290, it may be on the pricier side compared to other heat presses in the $200 range. However, when looking at other automatic heat presses on the market, such as the Cricut Autopress which retails for around $800, the HTVRont heat press is a much more affordable option. Plus, its features and ease of use make it well worth the price.

Therefore if you’re serious about your crafting or business, investing in a quality heat press like the HTVRont automatic heat press can save you time and money in the long run.  Overall, it’s definitely a great value for its price point!

My Overall Verdict of the HTVRONT Automatic Heat Press

Overall, I am extremely pleased with my experience using the HTVRONT automatic heat press. Its sleek design, convenient features, and ease of use make it a valuable addition to any crafter’s workspace. While there were some minor issues with temperature adjustment and pressure settings for sublimation projects, they did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the machine. The automatic lift and slide-out tray are game-changers for me, making it my my go-to machine.

I highly recommend this heat press to anyone looking for a high-quality and efficient pressing experience for vinyl projects. However, if you’re looking for a heat press for sublimation I’d recommend a classic lever heat press such as the Vevor heat press.

There’s an additional automatic setting that will begin to press the item when the slide-in tray is pushed in. If this isn’t selected, then you simply need to press the start button.  This feature saves the user from having to manually lift and lower the plate, providing a more hands-free experience.  While it’s not entirely automatic as you do still need to press a button, it does help save time and effort in the pressing process.

Yes, the HTVRONT automatic heat press can technically be used for sublimation projects. However, the pressure isn’t as high as would be ideal for sublimation so colors won’t be as vibrant as with a pull-lever press.
